The Kindergarten Room
Our kindergarten program follows the Alberta Curriculum and is taught by an Alberta Certified Teacher. The classroom is set up with our “Learning Through Play” Philosophy where children learn by hands-on exploration. A child can attend kindergarten if they will be 5 by December 31st of that school year.
Facility Features
The kindergarten class is a spacious room with a small loft area in the corner for additional space. They have access to a large gymnasium as well as multiple outdoor play spaces.
An outdoor classroom space has been created to provide further experiences for learning and exploration.

9:15 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Calendar, Numeracy
9:45 a.m. -10:15 a.m. Snack/Open Centers
10:15 a.m. -10:40 a.m. Word Work
10:40 a.m. -11:00 Read A Loud
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Gross Motor/Outside
12:00 -12:30 p.m. Lunch
12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Science
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Snack/Open Centers
2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Gross Motor/Outdoor Activities/Gym
2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Pack up/Reflection
3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Daily Review/Activity
